Ricky, I believe the manager, gave me a call to verify pricing for the leak detection and slab leak repair before they sent their . They were both completely transparent with everything before confirming the service. I appreciate the fact that they gave me the follow up call so I knew exactly what to expect.
Gaspare came to my home just a few hours later that same day to do a leak detection. Let me just say, WOW. This guy is amazing. He was very thorough and knew exactly what he was doing. I wasn't at my home that day, but I was able to witness greatness through my Ring camera. My family at home really loved his attention to detail and his respect to our home wearing the shoe protectors. Just because I wasn't home, didn't mean I was out of the loop either, not at all. I received multiple calls from Gaspare in a 3-way call with Ricky to give me updates every notable step of the way so everyone was on the same page. Excellent service. After doing a thorough check, Gaspare did end up finding the leak that was located under my living room floor using the thermal imaging device. Also, they knew I wanted a more pin-pointed detection, so they verified if I was okay with the acoustic leak detection cost. He was able to further verify the location using that device. I was incredibly impressed with the professionalism overall and the detailed explanations that my much older parents were also able to easily understand from Gaspare. An awesome service from him overall.
Adam was assigned to the slab leak repair after we confirmed the service to be done. This man is a wizard when it comes to doing repairs. He created a small perfect 2' x 2' square and removed the floor as neat as possible. After jackhammering the concrete, he was able to locate the leak fairly quickly and showed us where it was. It was a hot water line leak. He was very professional with isolating the area with plastic tarps and cleaning everything up after he was done. Adam was very pleasant to talk to, and he's very time-conscious. You can tell he has many years of experience doing this. Adam paid very close attention to detail as well, and kept us well informed on the tasks he was accomplishing.
Gaspare came a few days later (today) to finish patching up the cement. Now we're all good. No leaks. We're a happy family again. I'm telling you, these guys are top-notch at what they do. They don't waste time, they get right to the heart of the problem and help you understand everything.
I made the mistake of calling a bunch of so-called reputable plumbing companies all over the island, and they all charged me for an inconclusive diagnosis and kept telling me I did NOT have a leak. I thought I was losing my mind over the 20 gallon per hour leak alerts I was getting on my EyeOnWater app. These guys at Fix-A-Leak confirmed the issue and quickly had the answer to my problems. If you have any leaks, or any plumbing/heating issue at all.. call these guys immediately. Don't bother anywhere else. I wish I found them earlier. These are the guys. I can not recommend them enough if they service your area. A big thank you again to those of you I interacted with: Brooke, Ricky, Gaspare, and Adam. To anyone reading this: I'm sure whoever you deal with at this company, you'll be treated well and taken care of.
